The ADCC Tournament is considered the Olympics for Grappling sports.
The event happens every two years, the last edition took place in Anaheim, California and the Soul Fighters co-founder Augusto “Tanquinho” Mendes took the gold medal and the title of the male champion under 66kg.
Professor Bruno Tank Mendes, brother of Augusto, Soul Fighters co-founder and program director for our school here in Highland Park in Dallas, was there as his coach and part of the winning team.
