
Biography
Jarrod Trotter started his Jiu-Jitsu journey in 2013. A friend got him started after he graduated high school. Jarrod started wrestling when he was 6. He wrestled for Allen High School, Allen, TX.
Jarrod was a 4 time District champ, 4 time Regional champ, 4 time State Finalist , 2 time Texas State champ. He also holds multiple titles as National All-American and National Championship. Jarrod says that “Jiu-Jistu has helped me learn how to be comfortable being uncomfortable.”
Jarrod encourages everyone to try Jiu-Jitsu because it will teach you it is not about winning it is about adjusting and to keep advancing but most importantly it will show you to enjoy your own journey.
Jarrod says “I am happy to be apart and help grow Soul Fighters here at Highland Park to teach the highest level of wrestling and to show everyone that they can do more than what they think but also help them enjoy their own individual journey. “
Jarrod is also working as the Assistant Coach for the kids Melissa wrestling program (Cardinal Wrestling Club). Jarrod fought MMA and went 7-1 as amateur and as pro 1-0.
